The Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit plays a vital role in the lives of believers, empowering them to live a transformed life, guided by God’s truth and love. The Spirit also functions as fruit-producer in our lives. When He indwells us, He begins the work of harvesting His fruit in our lives – love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. These are not works of our flesh, which is incapable of producing such fruit, but they are products of the Spirit’s presence in our lives. He helps believers understand Jesus, comforts them, and equips them with spiritual gifts for service, ultimately leading them closer to God. The knowledge that the Holy Spirit of God has taken up residence in our lives, that He performs all these miraculous functions, that He dwells with us forever, and that He will never leave or forsake us is cause for great joy and comfort. Thank God for this precious gift, the Holy Spirit and His work in our lives!

The Holy Spirit empowers believers to live according to God’s will, providing strength, wisdom, and courage. He guides believers into all truth, helping them understand Scripture and live wisely. He helps believers grow in grace and maturity, becoming more like Christ. He imparts spiritual gifts, equipping believers for service and ministry within the church.

Empowerment to do good

The Holy Spirit empowers believers to share the gospel message, giving them the courage and ability to be witnesses for Christ. He equips them with spiritual gifts for service, enabling them to fulfill their roles and responsibilities within the church. He provides strength and motivation for all areas of life, from serving others to pursuing righteousness.
